FAQs
At CarpetBird Limited we want to answer any possible questions you may have about any of our services. The following information should help you better understand our services and process.
Our carpet machines are equipped with a high-powered twin vacuum system that extracts dirt from deep inside the carpet fibres. We never over-wet your carpets or use harsh carpet cleaning chemicals. Carpets are always left free of detergent and rinsed with a solution to bring your carpet fibres back to the pH level they were when new, ensuring the carpet and everyone’s health is maintained!
Thanks to our high-powered machines, your carpets will be around 80% dry when we finish. Typically, carpets take between 2 to 4 hours to dry completely. We advise keeping windows and doors open, if feasible, to improve air circulation and ventilation, and turning on the heating if needed to assist the drying process further.
We do recommend hoovering before our arrival as it helps to remove dry loose soil from the carpet fibres.
Yes, the products we use are safe for children and pets.
Yes, we have received professional training and are fully insured.
Upon completion, we dispose of wastewater down either an external kitchen drain or an internal toilet. This is to ensure our commitment to proper disposal of wastewater from our machines.
It is advisable to remove as much as possible from the designated rooms. We understand that, in some cases, large furniture cannot be removed, such as beds or large sofas. If this is the case, we can clean around the furniture or move it as we clean, if it is safe to do so.
Regrettably, if we incur these charges, we must include them in our quotation.
